The goal of the IUCS v1.0 course is to provide students with information and practice activities to prepare them to design, implement, and troubleshoot a secure Cisco IP Telephony environment, in accord with a set of customer requirements.

Describe the Cisco Unified Communications components and associated
security concepts
Map out security for a network infrastructure, including L2/L3 technologies,
firewalls, rate limiting and IPSec
Secure Single Site and Multi Site Deployments
Identify and secure signalling and media interworking
Secure UC Applications, including Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity Express, Meeting
Place, Meeting Place Express,
Cisco IPCC and Cisco IPCC Express
